Hi, I'm Mafalda — a biomedical engineer who fell for data. I'm now a Junior Data Scientist at NTT DATA, turning complex data into clear, practical decisions.
I've joined NTT DATA as a Junior Data Scientist. After my degree at Técnico and the Data Analyst programme at Mayerfeld Consulting, this is the start of my professional career in data — while I keep studying AI and Machine Learning at IADE.
Engineering taught me to approach problems with analytical thinking, scientific rigour and attention to detail. I care about the full path: understanding the question, cleaning and validating the data, testing whether a pattern is real, and explaining the result so anyone can act on it.
